NME runs a facilities management operation that services 5,000 existing properties and 48 buildings. Customers include Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education and the Gillies Group Professionals Real Estate.

NME has grown steadily over the past twenty years to become Wellington's largest contracting company. The systems and infrastructure has obviously grown to accommodate this. The vision was set ten years ago of how the company had to act to achieve its goals. Now as these are being realised the culture within management through to trainees is a key point of different that will be instantly apparent.

Our core business has has been in the commercial tender and maintenance sectors of the industry in Wellington for the past twenty years. NME Wellington currently employs 85 staff encompassing a fleet of 53 vehicles. 

We have a large office and workshop setup in Alicetown, Lower Hutt. Our size and systems put us in a strong position when it comes to any degree of urgent work or buying power with wholesalers.

We run a total Data and Communications division (incorporating alarms) certified in all levels of this technology.

We also operate a Mechanical division with staff specialising in all aspects of heating, ventilation and air conditioning including any scale of new installation and commissioning. On-going maintenance proposals can also be provided and carried out to any level.

Due to demand, a growing electrical branch in Auckland incorporating a total Property Maintenance division has also been established. The Auckland office and workshop are located at 76 Anzac Ave in the city.
